Marketing Job Opportunity
Marketing and Digital Projects ?hubster?*
Salary: £22k
the hub is an entrepreneurial arts and creative enterprise development practice. We bring together a team of highly skilled and industry-savvy practitioners. Our work divides into five areas: we produce live events and digital projects; we?re researchers; we act as consultants; and we work as trainers. We work across the creative sector, but have a particular specialism in music, and our aim is to stimulate new thinking and practice. We work with everyone from individual artists, small labels and arts organisations to large institutions such as Arts Council England, the Musicians? Union and the BBC. We love what we do.
We?re looking for an experienced and lateral thinking marketer, most likely with a background in music, to join our team. You?ll be responsible for communicating our vision, values and work to our professional peers, and to artists, audiences, sponsors and funders. You?ll also work on our live events and digital projects, and provide marketing and digital advice and support to our clients. A self starter and exceptional communicator, you?ll have writing skills that are second to none and be adept at using a range of on- and off-line methods and ?languages? to communicate with different audiences and communities. A digital native, you?ll be a blogger not a blagger, and if you have ?nerd tendencies? and a ?digital anorak? in your wardrobe, so much the better.
Beyond that you?ll be innately entrepreneurial and creative, a cultural junkie, and be eager to make a real contribution to the vibrancy of the UK?s creative scene.
